Today while I was making dinner, Lucas was in the living room with my husband. It was a cool day, so the front door was open and the window was open on the screen door, too. Lucas LOVES to close himself in between the front door and the screen door, so hubby and I were playing with him. I was asking Lucas where he was and he'd laugh and we did this over and over. Hubby was peeking at him through the crack and I happened to look up and see a cop car in front of our house. I wasn't sure what was going on, but I saw the officer approaching our house. I went to the door and opened it, with Lucas still in between the two doors (but the front door wasn't pulled all the way shut, as he can't close it all the way). Anyway, the officer happened to be passing by and stopped because she thought Lucas was trapped!! LOL. I assured her we were playing with him and he was just in his favorite hiding spot. LOL--my little trouble maker!! Who knew he'd have the cops coming to our house at the ripe old age of 2!!
