Looks like a fun day! Congrats on the little one being big enough to turn around. I know our daughter loved it when we turned her seat around. Now I have another little one who is too little still and is stuck looking to where we've been instead of where we're going.

When we turned Hayden around, a friend said, "Now he can see where he's going instead of where he's been." I thought that was so cute! I love the Mt. Vernon pictures. I took a picture of that same tree when we were there. It reminded me of the lone oak in California.

I have a Canon 30d with the Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Lens....and I love it!! Sadly, I haven't taken the time to read the manual yet, so I am just using it as a point and shoot at this point.

Those were awesome pictures!! My little man just graduated to a big carseat too! He didn't like it at first but now he loves to be able to look out the window and see where we are going!

Great pics. :) I've been wondering how long it will be until Nate can ride forward facing. Is that the Britax Marathon in Onyx? We wanted that one, but it wouldnt fit in our car rear facing and had to buy a roundabout.

I came here when I saw your comment on Karla's blog. I just wanted to tell you that I got a Regent for my little boy, thinking that it would be good for him to stay in the harness. However, not only did he absolutely HATE it, but it was HUGE! I have a mini-van, which can hold anything of any size, but that thing took up almost half of the back seat (which holds three people easily)! He's in a regular booster now, and he loves it. It also makes him feel really cool b/c he can buckle his own seatbelt. I've had to work with him on keeping the shoulder strap on, b/c he thought for a while it was fine to just put it behind his back, but other than that, it's worked out well. Just thought I'd share my two cents worth...Have a great day!

Oh, and btw, what cuties your little boys are! I can't believe your little one made it all the way to 22 mos. before he was 20 lbs! Mine barely waited for a year!
